May 2026 Release Notes

What's new in TwinsAI for May 2026; inbound calling, Apollo CRM integration (not just data anymore), Smart Lists framework, dialer in-call upgrades, Detection V7,  and lot's of fixes.

v2.1173.0 — May 25–31, 2026

New Features

  • Call Tasks smart lists — Call Tasks now drive automated smart lists for Apollo, Close, and Hubspot.
  • Unified CRM Call Tasks — Call Tasks now work the same way across HubSpot, Apollo, and Close, with callback-date filtering, auto-close on completion, and a log tracker for visibility (Salesforce and other supported CRMs are coming soon).
  • CRM sync status indicators — TwinsAI's contact repository (OCP) activity rows now show sync status with HubSpot/Apollo/Close, and let you manually resubmit failed syncs (Salesforce and other supported CRMs are coming soon).
  • No-Assistant: parallel call to 4 numbers — extends the parallel-dialing capacity for No-Assistant calls.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed inbound calls answered by the AI assistant being stuck in NO_ANSWER instead of ANSWERED_CONNECTED 
  • Fixed AI rejoin behavior after assistant removal.
  • Fixed post-call transcription hallucinating dialogue on very short / silent audio (v2.1173.1).
  • Fixed AI not leaving voicemails at the correct time (originally shipped May 22 as v2.1152.2 hotfix — restated here for the weekly summary).


v2.1152.x — May 18–24, 2026

Improvements

  • CRM Smart Lists grouped by provider — HubSpot / Apollo / Close groupings in the list picker for easier navigation.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Close CRM sync creating duplicate contacts for the same provider record (v2.1152.1 hotfix).
  • Fixed AI not leaving voicemails at the correct time (v2.1152.2 hotfix; also rolled forward into v2.1173.0 above).

v2.1152.0 — May 11–17, 2026

New Features

  • Smart Lists framework: with Call Back smart list and HubSpot Call Tasks smart lists — automated, criteria-driven contact lists.
  • Dialer in-call state enhancements: a set of in-call UX upgrades including a new in-call notes area and richer in-call state controls.
  • HubSpot Call Tasks: TwinsAI now supports HubSpot call tasks for customers using HubSpot. You can watch a video on how this works here.

Improvements

  • Faster Close CRM sync: switched to bulk lead enrichment for quicker contact sync.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Last Activity sorting for dialing.
  • Addressed the issue with the call outcome box not appearing after calls with No-AI Audio Assistant .
  • Fixed issue with needing to scroll to the bottom of the Contact List before the typeahead search would work.
  • Fixed Apollo / Outreach syncing phoneless contacts as undialable rows.

v2.1133.0 — May 4–10, 2026

New Features

  • Multi-CRM support: connect Apollo alongside HubSpot/Close/Salesforce, etc.
  • Inbound calls during an active dialing session: the dialer now accepts inbound calls while you’re in an active outbound session. If a caller dials a number assigned to a User, then only that person's phone will ring. If a caller dials an unassigned number, then all logged in User's will receive an inbound ring.
  • Pre-connect softphone to all parallel call conferences: TwinsAI now connects Users instantly when a parallel dial is answered, with no delay. 
  • Detection V7: improved human detection for AI call screeners and other detection refinements for better call answering routing.

Improvements

  • Auto Call Outcome: “Mailbox Full”: automatically detected and tagged.
  • Inbound assistant name in post-call summary email: emails now identify which inbound assistant handled the call.
  • Close: contact number dial-by-priority: calls now dial Mobile → Direct → Office → Home → Other in order.
  • Real-time contact list refresh: contact lists now update live without a manual refresh.
  • Phone-number uniqueness handling: for org/lists that have multiple contacts with the same phone number.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Default Sort and Sort by Last Activity in the Dialer.
  • Updated the Dialing Sessions time calculation.
  • Addressed an issue where parallel VM status would get stuck from time to time.
  • Fixed Inbound Forward when an assigned assistant is deleted/inactive (now skipped instead of failing).
  • Fixed outbound API calls ignoring voicemail / fax / IVR detection.
  • Fixed HubSpot inbound call logging: correct direction + owner mapping.

v2.1109.0 — April 27 – May 3, 2026

New Features

  • Auto-feedback generation: automatically generated feedback / AI-tagged call outcomes after each call.

Improvements

  • User filter on Organization Call Logs: filter call logs by individual user.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed parallel No-Assistant calls (parallel-4) not hanging up on voicemail.
  • Fixed HubSpot calendar booking failing when the contact has no email.
  • Fixed Conversation Cards not appearing when no AI assistant is used.
  • Fixed quoted-text color in Conversation Cards.
